I am committed to listening to people and providing a forum to learn about how they have developed current strategies to move through the world. At times, cognitive and behavioral strategies to improve the immediate quality of their life is appropriate.  But on the whole, the reflective process of  therapy, is to enable the client the space and focused attention, to learn more about themselves.  I believe through this assisted self study, I help my clients deeply understand themselves.  This understanding leads to increased self compassion, and open armed acceptance. In my experience, true change is then possible.
